Behind the bravura of center fielder Jaden Lewis, the Franklin Cubs topped the Terra Linda Chargers by the score of 4-3. Lewis was 2-3 with 2 home runs for the Cubs. Rich Sargent got the save, his 7th in 12 chances. Franklin is now 40-78, Terra Linda 76-42.

Franklin used a clutch hit from Billy Cyrus to get the win. The second baseman drilled a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Cubs ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"Our guys just had that look of determination," said winning manager Alec Roller.
