Reagor Dykes Stadium featured a tense pitchers' duel.

In a tight game between the Abingdon Archers and the Moriarty Suns, pitcher Bobby Gang was terrific on the mound. The Abingdon right-hander helped his team to the 2-1 win. Abingdon reliever Jim Unknown was credited with the win. His record goes to 1-0. Ricardo Alvarado took the loss for Moriarty.
