The Lincoln Princes got a sterling performance from pitcher Jesus Martinez, but the Buffalo Bellflowers still prevailed, 5-2. Martinez threw 8.0 innings of 1-hit ball. The save was credited to Paul Ganley, his 5th. The Bellflowers now have a record of 66-50.

Nick Owens delivered a big hit for Buffalo. The pinch hitter drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the 12th inning to put the Bellflowers ahead, 5-2. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

"We need better swings, better at-bats," said losing manager Jorge Vasquez.
