Chargers Need Extra Frames to Get Past Torpedoes
The Terra Linda Chargers and Long Island Torpedoes put on quite a show.

Led by Ross Myer, the Terra Linda Chargers downed the Long Island Torpedoes, 14-6, in 12 innings. Myer was 3-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5 for the Chargers. With the win, Terra Linda upped its record to 68-46.

Terra Linda used the timely hitting of Vinny Murillo to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 12th inning to put the Chargers on top, 7-6. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

In postgame comments, Murillo said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
