Behind a fine performance from Nick Cossey, the Buffalo Bellflowers knocked off the Borrego Springs Rams, 5-4. Cossey went 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Bellflowers. Buffalo has now won 3 straight, while the Rams have lost 3 in a row.

Buffalo took a 5-3 lead on Cossey's 19th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Jae-weong Hyun in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Buffalo to the win.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Borrego Springs manager Michael Wright.
