Losing Streak Continues for Princes with 4-0 Loss to Torpedoes
|
The Long Island Torpedoes picked up a win at Centerville Grounds, downing the Lincoln Princes, 4-0. On the mound for Long Island was right-hander Daniel Williams, who played a pivotal role in the win. The save went to Andrew Rogers, his 12th this season. The losing streak for Lincoln has now reached 9 games.
Matt Yeager cracked a home run off Emmanuel Ortega in the bottom of the first. His 2-run blast put the Torpedoes on top, 2-0. In all, Yeager had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Williams said.
