Moncton turned a good effort from starter Greg Brando into a win over the Abingdon Archers at Reagor Dykes Stadium. The Mounties won the game, 6-2. Abingdon is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 6 in a row.

Moncton used a well-timed hit by Rafael Farrand to capture the win. The center fielder socked a run-scoring double in the top of the first inning to put the Mounties ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

Farrand told a Moncton Daily reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
