Long Island turned a good performance from starting pitcher Mario Santana into a 5-2 triumph over the Whitby Bats at Eláguila Stadia. Santana got the win, improving to 3-5. He gave up 7 hits and walked 5 over 8 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Glen Foster wrapped it up, recording his 15th save.
