The Whitby Bats pasted the Terra Linda Chargers with a convincing 12-2 defeat at Eláguila Stadia. Tony Sanchez was a prime factor in the Whitby win. He belted 3 home runs. He scored 4 times and drove in 5. Danny Andrade was credited with the save for Whitby, his 6th of the season. The Bats have an impressive 74-36 record.

The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth when Sanchez hit a solo home run. It thrust the Bats into the lead, 3-2.
