Herbert Leads Cubs to 3-0 Win over Princes
|
Franklin pitcher Dan Herbert had a large part in his team beating the Lincoln Princes, 3-0. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Picking up the save was 18-year old left-handed pitcher Mike Watts. The Princes, now 36-72, have lost 5 in a row.
Herbert scattered 1 hit over 7 innings for the Cubs. With the win, Herbert moves to 3-1 on the year with 61 strikeouts.
