The Borrego Springs Rams had no problem beating the Lincoln Princes, 12-3, at Club Circle Park. Matt Shea, who is tied for 7th in the NC with a .463 on-base percentage, led the onslaught. He went 3 for 3 with 3 singles and 2 walks, while scoring 2 for Borrego Springs. Jae-weong Hyun snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 5 innings. He's now 6-0 on the season. Borrego Springs is in second place in the Northern Conference West Division with a record of 72-37.

In the bottom of the second inning, shortstop Travis Shaw had a bases-clearing triple for Borrego Springs. It was his 6th triple of the season and put the Rams on top, 3-0.
