The Franklin Cubs saddled the Long Island Torpedoes with a loss at Franklin Park. The final score was 6-5. Tony Bradshaw was 3 for 5, including 2 singles and 1 home run. Had Bradshaw not come through in the bottom of the eighth, who knows how the game would've ended? But with two down, Bradshaw hit a grand slam home run. The Cubs took the lead, 6-5, and never looked back.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Bradshaw told a Franklin Citizen reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
