Saint Pierre and Miquelon Gets 4-2 Road Win
|
Saint Pierre and Miquelon shortstop Chih Ren had a 3-RBI game, which proved instrumental to his team beating the Moncton Mounties, 4-2. Ren picked up 2 singles and 1 double in the ballgame. Saint Pierre and Miquelon is first in the Northern Conference West Division with a record of 65-42.
With Saint Pierre and Miquelon leading 3-2 in the top of the eighth, Ren hit a run-scoring single off Moncton hurler Chris Gabbitas. It was the 42nd hit of the season for Ren and put his team ahead, 4-2.
After the game, Saint Pierre and Miquelon manager Bryan Crockett applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
