Big Day for Farrand in 6-2 Mounties Win
Boosted by the 3-hit performance of Rafael Farrand, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2022 draft, the Moncton Mounties defeated the Saint Pierre and Miquelon Pirates, 6-2. Moncton pitcher Eduardo Garcia got the win. He's now 8-3. Mark Stuart was tagged with the loss. The triumph puts Moncton at 54-51 for the season.

The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Farrand hit a 2-run home run off Mark Stuart. It propelled the Mounties into the lead, 2-0.

"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Moncton manager Kevin Squillace.
