Borrego Springs Wins, 5-4, in 12 Innings
The Borrego Springs Rams faced a tenacious opponent in Saint Pierre and Miquelon pitcher Gu Tian, but still scratched out a win at Spinners Ballpark by a final score of 5-4 in 12 innings. Tian went 6 innings and allowed 1 run. The win was credited to 22-year old right-handed pitcher Bryan Moody in relief. His record improves to 3-2. Dan Martin took the loss. Earning the save was Greg Gregor. He's now cashed in 2 of 2 save opportunities.

Borrego Springs took a 5-4 lead on Mike MacPherson's 28th home run of the season. The solo home run, which MacPherson hit in the top of the 12th, left Saint Pierre and Miquelon pitcher Dan Martin visibly frustrated.

"Took some scratching and clawing," said MacPherson. "But we got it done."

With the win, the Rams have a record of 58-41.
