The Moncton Mounties had no problem beating the Buffalo Bellflowers, 20-2, at Mapleton Yards. Adrian Dixon led the onslaught. He went 4 for 6 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 5 for Moncton. Bill Bazaldua, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 1st save.

Early in the game, Dixon had a 2-run double for Moncton. It was his 21st double of the season and put the Mounties on top, 3-1.

"The vibe's good," said Moncton manager Johnny Hoffman. "We've got to keep it going."

Now 77-22, the Mounties have won 12 in a row.
