The Whitby Bats and Buffalo Bellflowers played an exciting game.

In a tight contest between the Whitby Bats and the Buffalo Bellflowers, Darryl Snipes was the determining factor. The Whitby right-hander sparkled in his team's 3-2 win. Whitby is second in the Northern Conference West Division with a record of 63-32.

Whitby took the lead, 3-2, on Jake Criscuolo's 14th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Buffalo pitcher Mike Cousin in the bottom of the eighth.

"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Whitby manager Mike Boyd.
