The Moncton Mounties trumped the Terra Linda Chargers, 11-7, at Ballpark of Plantersville. Moncton designated hitter Luis Lomeli was terrific. He went 1 for 1 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Moncton is now 48-43, Terra Linda 57-34.

The game was all tied up in the top of the ninth, until Lomeli delivered big-time for Moncton, stroking a dramatic grand slam home run off Adam Brittain. The game-changing hit put the Mounties on top, 11-7.

When asked about his performance after the game, Lomeli said: "Like everyone else, I'm just doing my job."
