Conde Leads Charge, Terra Linda Blasts Torpedoes
With catcher Juan Conde leading the charge, the Terra Linda Chargers defeated the Long Island Torpedoes, 14-1, at Centerville Grounds. Conde, who is tied for 5th in the NC with a .435 on-base percentage, went 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Terra Linda pitcher Justin Hesley earned the win, hiking his record to 8-1. Jeff Zinn suffered the loss. The win elevated the Chargers to 61-30.
