The Moncton Mounties routed the Terra Linda Chargers, 18-3, at Ballpark of Plantersville. Charlie Zimmerman, who is tied for 4th in the NC in RBI with 108, was one of the hitting stars. He went 4 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 4 times and driving in 5 for Moncton. Moncton's winning streak has reached 13 games.

With Moncton leading 2-1 in the top of the third, Zimmerman hit a fastball from Javier Palos for a 2-run double. It was his 28th double of the season and put the Mounties ahead, 4-1.

"It's fun to come to the yard every day when you're winning," said Moncton manager Johnny Hoffman.
