Moncton beat Terra Linda at Ballpark of Plantersville, escaping with a 6-5 win. The win in large part was due to third baseman Charlie Zimmerman. He went 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The 82-8 Mounties have won 11 games in a row.

The game was all tied up in the top of the eighth, until Zimmerman delivered big-time for Moncton, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Blaine Mackie. The game-changing hit put the Mounties on top, 6-5.

"Swagger goes hand in hand with playing well," said Moncton manager Johnny Hoffman.
