Bacon Helps Franklin Bombard Whitby
The Franklin Cubs blasted the Whitby Bats, 14-4. Josh Bacon was one of the hitting stars. He slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4 for Franklin. The Cubs sit in third place in the Northern Conference East Division with a record of 54-36.

Bacon had a key at-bat for Franklin in the bottom of the first. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 17th home run of the season and gave Franklin an early 2-0 lead.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Bacon.
