The Moncton Mounties downed the Long Island Torpedoes, 7-1. The hitting star was catcher Ricky Cortes. Cortes was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Mounties. The winning continues for Moncton, with the latest triumph making it 9 straight.
