OUT OF SIGHT: Williams Sends 4 into Orbit
|
Avery Williams of the Whitby Bats had a history-making game against the Saint Pierre and Miquelon Pirates, clobbering 4 home runs in an awesome display of power in the 12-1 Bats victory.
The Whitby left fielder, the 18th overall pick in the 2026 draft, went 4-for-4, had 10 RBIs and scored 4 times in the game.
"There have been a few times when I consciously tried to hit one out," said Williams later. "It doesn't often work, but it did today for the last one. I guess this day was just meant to be."
Avery Williams hit a three-run home run off Alejandro Sanchez in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Shunso Kashiwabara in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Aaron Williams in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Roberto Guerra in the 7th and walked in the 8th.
