The Buffalo Bellflowers got a superb performance from pitcher Wayne Wright, but the Terra Linda Chargers still won the game, 4-2. Wright threw 5.0 innings of 4-hit ball. The Chargers own a robust 55-30 mark.

Yoneo Yamamoto delivered a big hit for Terra Linda. The shortstop drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Chargers ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.

After the game, Terra Linda manager Carlos Acevedo applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
