Gonzalez Helps Colonels Win, 18-11, with Pair of Homers
The Tiverton Colonels topped the Long Island Torpedoes by a score of 18-11. Leading the way was left fielder Jim Gonzalez. Gonzalez was 4 for 5 with 2 home runs, 2 doubles, and a walk, while scoring 5 times and driving in 5 for the Colonels. The Colonels improved to a lofty 59-25.
