At Franklin Park, the Franklin Cubs and Plymouth Rockers were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Plymouth Rockers pinned a convincing loss on the Franklin Cubs, 9-1, at Franklin Park. Julio Rodriguez was a main factor in the win. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for Plymouth. The 4th-place Rockers now sit at 41-41.

Rodriguez made an early impact for Plymouth when he stroked his 20th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came in the top of the third, put the Rockers on top, 3-0.

"We didn't help ourselves, it's as simple as that," said losing manager Kerry McElree.
