The Borrego Springs Rams topped the Buffalo Bellflowers, 9-3, with youngster Angelo Diaz playing a key role. Diaz went 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Rams in the win. The second-place Rams have won 10 straight games.

In the first inning, Diaz had a grand slam home run for Borrego Springs. It was his 17th home run of the season and put the Rams on top, 4-0.

"We played a good game and came out on top," said Diaz.
