Austin Hits 2 home runs in Bats Win
Behind a solid performance from left fielder John Austin, the Whitby Bats defeated the Moncton Mounties, 7-4. Austin hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Bats. Whitby is now 63-17, while Moncton is 51-29.

With Whitby trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Austin hit a fastball from Tony Vega for a grand slam home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Bats ahead, 5-2.

"Just glad I could help us get a win," said Austin.
