The Borrego Springs Rams locked up a win at Lincoln Grounds, knocking off the Lincoln Princes, 6-4. On the mound for Borrego Springs was right-hander Ryan Eberhardt. He played a major role in the triumph. Eberhardt got the win, improving to 7-3. He gave up 2 hits and walked 1 over 6.2 innings. He allowed 3 runs. Picking up the save was Leo Fonseca, his 11th.

Borrego Springs used a clutch at-bat from David Johnson to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Rams ahead, 3-2. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Johnson said.

The win elevated the Rams to 52-23.
