Massey, Princes Too Much for Mounties
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 21-year old first baseman Tim Massey, the Lincoln Princes stopped the Moncton Mounties, 6-2. Ramon Garcia, who is tied for 6th in the NC in wins with 6, was the winning pitcher. Over 6.1 innings, he allowed no runs on 2 hits, with 3 walks and 4 strikeouts. The Princes improved to 29-43.

With Lincoln leading 2-0 in the bottom of the second, Massey hit a 2-run double off Moncton hurler Vito Goretti. It was the 2nd double of the season for Massey and put his team ahead, 4-0.
