Colonels Lose Again, 7-0, to Torpedoes
Long Island pitcher Miguel Perelsa did his part in helping his team defeat the Tiverton Colonels, 7-0. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. The win gives the Torpedoes a record of 23-45.

The action was intense with one out in the bottom of the sixth inning. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Tiverton trailing 1-0, Miguel Perelsa had to face the 19-year old first baseman Mike Kopp, who was hoping to turn the game around. It was not to be, as Kopp hit into a double play.
