Bellflowers Take Tight Tilt
The Buffalo Bellflowers and Moncton Mounties played an entertaining game for Wegman's Field patrons.

Starting pitcher Israel Parez pitched well enough to help the Buffalo Bellflowers beat the Moncton Mounties, 4-3. Parez, now 7-4, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 9, walking 1, and allowing 2 runs.

Making an impact for the home team was Nick Machuca. In the bottom of the sixth, the 18-year old catcher had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. That made the score 4-2, Bellflowers.

"It's about putting our team in the best position to win ballgames," said Parez.

The wins continue to add up for Buffalo. The latest makes it 7 in a row.
