The Long Island Torpedoes grabbed a win, 4-1, over the Whitby Bats at Eláguila Stadia. Long Island catcher Matt Yeager went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Andrew Rogers, credited with the save, is now 9 for 10 in save opportunities. The Torpedoes go to 26-38 with the win.

With Long Island leading 1-0 in the top of the fifth, Yeager hit a changeup from Vinny Padilla for a 3-run home run. It was his 13th home run of the season and put the Torpedoes ahead, 4-0.

Yeager attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
