With left fielder Aaron Helgason leading the charge, the Whitby Bats defeated the Buffalo Bellflowers, 17-4, at Eláguila Stadia. Helgason went 4 for 6 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Whitby reliever Tyler Rotella picked up the win, raising his record to 1-0. Antonio Corona was tagged with the loss. The Bats boast a remarkable 51-12 record.

Helgason had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the fifth inning, when he hit a 2-run double. The Bats went on to win.
