Eric Hying had a good game, but he could not keep the Lincoln Princes from falling, 5-4, to the Moriarty Suns at Super Solarplex. The Lincoln right fielder hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice in the loss. Donato Albuquerque got credit for the save for Moriarty. It was his 1st of the year. The Suns raised their record to 40-17.

Andy Curran drew 3 walks in 5 trips to the plate for Moriarty. The 21-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 4-4 tie with a run-scoring walk off Jim Unknown. It was his 59th walk of the season.

"Enjoyed this one," Curran told the Moriarty Daily News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
