Bellflowers Edge Past Cubs, 3-2

In a low-scoring contest between the Buffalo Bellflowers and the Franklin Cubs, Tom Donnelly was the X factor. The Buffalo right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. The first-place Bellflowers now sit at 36-23.
Buffalo got a knockout punch from Joe Morrison. The designated hitter hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.
"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Buffalo manager Andy Perez. "It's usually not just one thing."
