At Field of the Colonels, the Buffalo Bellflowers and Tiverton Colonels were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Tiverton Colonels defeated the Buffalo Bellflowers, 11-1, at Field of the Colonels. Leading the charge for Tiverton was center fielder Danny Molina. He went 4 for 5 with a home run, a triple, and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs. The winning pitcher was 18-year old left-handed pitcher Aaron Santiago. He tossed 106 pitches over 6.2 innings, allowing 1 run on 4 hits.

The Colonels got a big hit from third baseman Brandon Colbert. Facing Buffalo pitcher Tony Cruz in the bottom of the eighth, Colbert pounded a grand slam home run to right-center. His 8th home run of the season put the Colonels ahead, 11-1.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Colbert.

With the win, Tiverton upped its record to 35-23.
