Mounties Pull Out Late-Game Win, 2-1
Moncton took on Lincoln in a contest which featured a pitchers' duel. Eduardo Garcia, in particular, was fantastic. The Moncton left-hander helped his team snag the win, 2-1. John Sherline snagged the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 2 innings. He's now 4-3 on the season. Chris Gabbitas was called on to finish, recording his 3rd save.

Moncton used the timely hitting of Adam Conrad to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Mounties on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We just didn't score enough runs to win," said Lincoln manager Jorge Vasquez.

Moncton now owns a record of 28-29.
