The Buffalo Bellflowers outclassed the Long Island Torpedoes, 8-2, at Wegman's Field. Jayden Howard, who is tied for 10th in the NC with a .389 batting average, was a major contributor for Buffalo. Howard was 3-5 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. The Bellflowers lead the Northern Conference East Division by 6 games.

With Buffalo leading 4-2 in the bottom of the sixth, Howard hit a fastball from Sergio Tapia for a grand slam home run. It was his 17th home run of the season and put the Bellflowers ahead, 8-2.

"What a dismal performance," lamented losing manager Moises Gonzalez.
