Watson Helps Rockers Beat Bats, 9-4
|
Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Plymouth Rockers and Whitby Bats.
Plymouth left fielder Paul Watson had a 5-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Whitby Bats, 9-4. Jim Unknown was the winner. Over 7 innings, he yielded 3 runs on 8 hits, with 3 walks and 3 strikeouts.
Plymouth took the lead on Watson's 16th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which came against Raul Cisneros in the bottom of the sixth, made the score 7-3, Plymouth.
