Cubs Get Hard-Earned Win
Franklin third baseman Nick Keller was instrumental in helping the Cubs triumph, 6-5, over the Moncton Mounties. Keller was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3. With the win over Moncton, the Cubs improved to 26-27.

John Lucia was the walk-off hero for Franklin. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Cubs second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"Nick showed up tonight," said Franklin manager Kerry McElree.
