Adams drives in 5 runs to Fuel Cubs Offense
The Franklin Cubs thumped the Long Island Torpedoes, 9-1, at Franklin Park. Mark Adams was a big reason his team got the win. Adams went 2-4 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5. The triumph makes Franklin 14-39.

With Franklin leading 5-0 in the bottom of the sixth, Adams came up to bat against Long Island pitcher Luis Torres. Adams hit a slider to left for a grand slam home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the Cubs on top, 9-0.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Adams said.
