Good production from left fielder Armando Cuevas helped the Long Island Torpedoes topple the Terra Linda Chargers, 11-3. Cuevas went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Torpedoes. Steve Quintero got the win, improving to 2-1. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 4 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 3. The win gives the Torpedoes a record of 14-35.

Long Island shortstop Eddie Hull delivered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the second. Overall, he went 3 for 4, picking up 1 home run, 1 single, and 1 double. He scored 2 runs and knocked in 2.
