The Waco Warlocks picked up a win at Warlocks Grounds, dropping the Santa Ana Black Aces, 4-3. Dan Tettemer was the difference-maker. Jose Chavez picked up the save for Waco, his 3rd of the year. Waco sits in third place in the Sub League 1 Central Division at 19-17.
Jay Brown, who is tied for 7th in the SL1 in triples with 2, contributed to the Waco win with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the left fielder had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Waco manager Mike Schwartz.
