Big Day for Wrinn in 14-4 Warlocks Win
The Waco Warlocks cruised to a win over the Providence Hex, 14-4, at Ballpark of Providence. Dylan Wrinn led the way, going 3-for-3 for Waco. Mario Acosta, now 1-1, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.1 innings. Waco has now reeled off 8 straight wins.

Waco used a timely hit from Pete Hurley to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Warlocks ahead, 6-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a difference-maker.

"Dylan was ready to go. Big day for him," said Waco manager Mike Schwartz.
