Waco Beats Aurora, 5-2

Waco pitcher Carlos Zamora did his part in helping his team defeat the Aurora Paints, 5-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the left-hander. In 6.1 innings, Zamora surrendered 8 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 0. He allowed 2 runs. Alex Gonzales earned the save for Waco.
The Warlocks got a big at-bat from shortstop Chris Espinoza. For the game, Espinoza went 2 for 4 with a double. He drove in 3 runs. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 3rd double of the season gave Waco a 3-1 lead.
"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Aurora manager Orlando Salinas.
The win puts Waco at 15-13 this season.
