Dollywood Wins to Cut Barrie Lead to 3-2
The Dollywood Partons have closed some of the gap between themselves and the series-leading Barrie Admirals, winning, 9-6, at Stadia de Leones. Partons shortstop Rovilson Leyritana was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The win cuts the deficit facing the Partons to 3-2 in the best-of-7 League Championship Series.

Dollywood used the timely hitting of Roberto Ramirez to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Partons on top, 7-6. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I like to lead by example," said Ramirez. "I'm glad I could contribute to a good win."

The next game is set to be played for Friday, September 26th , 2025 at Dolly Parton Ballpark in Pigeon Forge.
