Mounties Win, Move to Within 1 Game of World Series
The Moncton Mounties moved to within one game of the World Series, downing the Tiverton Colonels on the road at Field of the Colonels by a score of 8-5. Mounties right-hander Chris Dunn had a strong outing. He threw 5.0 innings allowing 1 run. The win gives the Mounties a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 League Championship Series.

With one out in the top of the third, Mike Berlier barreled up a changeup from Miguel Flores. The result was a solo home run, putting the Mounties in front, 2-0.

"The only difference is executing pitches and not executing pitches," said Dunn. "When you don't execute, you get beat. When you execute, you usually give your team a chance to win."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Field of the Colonels in Tiverton.
