Medford Wins Division Series
The Medford Desperados bandwagon is filling up fast, as the team has moved one step closer to winning a World Series championship.

Medford downed the Little Rock Golden Gophers 8-2 tonight at Little Rock Grounds, to take the Division Series 4-1.

"It seems much more real now and we're really starting to realize we've got a great shot at this thing," said Cody Griffith, who was named series MVP. "When we play our best we're as good as anybody in the ABA Class A-."

For the series, Griffith had 10 hits for .500, with a .524 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, 3 RBI and scored 7 runs.

The Medford Desperados don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Ottawa Lynx - Santa Ana Black Aces series. That series is tied at 2 games apiece. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Division Series finishes.
