The Medford Desperados defeated the Little Rock Golden Gophers, 6-1, in Game 2 of the Division Series. Making an impact was center fielder Garrett Buckner, who went 4 for 4 with 3 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The win moves Medford into a 1-1 tie with Little Rock in the series.

Buckner had a key at-bat in the bottom of the second to put Medford in front, 3-0. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 2-run double off Little Rock pitcher Caleb Bond.

Buckner attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."

Game 3 is scheduled for Sunday at Little Rock Grounds in Little Rock.
