The Little Rock Golden Gophers are one game away from a sweep of the Ottawa Lynx after a road win at Rivermen Ballpark, 12-6. Golden Gophers third baseman Matt Dean was a key contributor. He went 4 for 6 with a home run and 2 doubles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 5. Little Rock now holds a 3-0 advantage in the best-of-7 Division Series.

Little Rock used a clutch at-bat from Justin Dawson to capture the win. The pinch hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Golden Gophers ahead, 5-4. It was his lone hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a humdinger.

Dean told the Little Rock Herald: "I'm the straw that stirs the drink."
